Alexandra

Practice Manager

Alex has been in practice management since 2002 having returned from living in Sydney, Australia, but her love of working with animals stems from 5 years as an animal keeper at a safari park in Bedfordshire. Following a break in career after the birth of her son, she progressed from practice manager to hospital manager to area manager for another group before joining the Mimram team in May this year. Outside of work her husband, son and three cats keep her busy


Erica DVM MRCVS Masters DG

Clinical Director

Erica graduated in 2011 with the Master´s Degree in Portugal, she then started to work as a Mixed Practice Vet assisting Small Animal Clinics and also Production farms in Portugal and in the UK. ERica also worked in referral practices from North to South of UK. In 2013, Erica took a Post Graduation in Internal Medicine in Small Animal and Exotic Animal and Erica is now attending a Post Graduation in Training of Companion Animals. Erica worked in Dubai for 3 years as clinical director and veterinary surgeon, being in contact with small and exotic animals. Erica is specialised in use of Ozonetherapy applied to veterinary use. She went to Brazil in 2017 to get a degree in this specialism. Her great interests are Surgery and Emergency Medicine and Ozonetherapy. Apart from riding horses, Erica loves martial arts.


Anna RVN

Head Nurse

Anna has been at Mimram vets since 2008 and has been nursing for almost 16 years. She enjoys consulting and has a keen interest in canine and feline obesity, running our highly  successful slimming clinics. She has a certificate in feline and canine veterinary health nutrition and has won categories the past two years in the Royal Canin annual pet slimming competition. She lives locally and has two dogs, Poppy and Tyson. Tyson is an ex street dog who she adopted via DOTS (Dogs on The Streets), who she volunteers for regularly.


Hattie RVN

Nurse

Hattie started her nurse training in may 2011 and passed her final exams in August 2013. For the future, she is keen to further her nursing skills and specialise in wound management. Hattie has a Cocker Spaniel called Morris who will often be seen at the practice, she enjoys hiking, charity fund raising and has organised many Mimram events.  


Emma RVN

Nurse

Emma started work at Mimram Vets in 2007 as a trainee nurse, having completed an animal management course at Shuttleworth College in Biggleswade. She qualified in November 2009. Emma has two cockapoos, Penny and Pippa. Pippa is a former stray who has most definitely fallen on her paws!. In her spare time Emma enjoys walking her dogs and is qualified as a pole fitness instructor.  


Sharon RVN

Nurse

Sharon qualified as an RVN 20 years ago and has been at Mimram vets since 2008. She is passionate about small furries with rabbits and guinea pigs being her favourite.  She also has a keen interest in pain management. Sharon has a bouncy black labrador called Elsa and in her spare time Sharon enjoys Pilates and running.


Sophie RVN

Nurse

Sophie has been working at Mimram Vets since 2013 and has been qualified for two years. She is Mimram’s clinical coach and is responsible for training our student nurses. Sophie enjoys surgery and anaesthesia and has a keen interest in emergency cases. Sophie has a little dog called Crumb, who was handed into Mimram as a stray. Sophie fostered her for the weekend and she never left. You may have spotted her around the practice, she is quite a character! In her spare time Sophie volunteers for DOTS.  


Regina TA MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Regina qualified in Hanover, Germany in 1989. She worked in small animal and mixed practice in England since 1991 including small animal clinics. After practicing for 10 years in Luton she joined the Mimram team in January 2008. Regina has a special interest in surgery and has two dogs, two mules and some sheep!


Mia BVet Med MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Mia graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. After graduation, Mia worked for Hill’s Pet Nutrition for a short while before joining a small animal practice in Kent, As a student, Mia had seen practice at Mimram and after being based in Kent for two years, she moved home to North London and joined the team in December 2014. Mia has a cuddly working cocker spaniel called Elsie, a black domestic shorthair cat called Bentley and a noisy African grey parrot called Limpy.


Sally BVet Med MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Sally qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1993. She spent two and a half years in mixed practice before moving to small animal practice, eventually joining the Mimram team in 2009. Sally is married and has two sons, Thomas and Lucas, so she works part-time and spends the rest of her time looking after the boys and their busy social lives! The family wouldn’t be without their pets- Freddie the cat, Rhubarb and Crumble the rabbits and Galaxy and Toblerone the rats.


Susie MA Vet MB Cert VDI MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Susie graduated from Cambridge University in 2000. She spent a year in small animal practice before completing 2 internships in small animal medicine and surgery at the Royal Veterinary College and Davies Veterinary Specialists. She then locummed for a year before joining the Mimram team in 2004. She gained her Certificate in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (CertVDI) in 2006 and now works part-time, enjoying all aspects of veterinary practice. Susie is married and has 4 children who keep her pretty busy but she enjoys playing the piano and squeezing in any type of sport when she can!

Gina

Receptionist

Gina joined our team as a receptionist in September 2014. She used to work as a veterinary nurse previously and after some time away from working life she is very happy to be back in the veterinary environment. Away from the practice, Gina is kept very busy looking after her family and their beagle Betty. In her spare time Gina enjoys reading, gardening, long walks with Betty and spending time with friends and family.


Nicola

Receptionist

Nicola has been working as a veterinary receptionist at Mimram since July 2010 and really enjoys her job, especially when she gets a chance to cuddle the animals that come into the practice! Nicola lives with her husband, and cat Millie, who they re-homed in 2012. Millie has settled in well and is very spoilt and loved. She would love more animals, especially a dog but thinks Millie would leave home! When Nicola is not working she enjoys baking, listening to music, country walks and spending time with family and friends. She particularly enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews who like to keep her busy!


Pauline

Receptionist

Pauline joined the practice in May 2016. She previously worked for Barclays Bank for 29 years as a Senior Lending Officer, then for 12 years at another veterinary practice. She shares her home life with hubby Kevin and her grown up son and daughter. She has a beautiful GSD called Ruby, who at 7 months, she took in from a rehoming centre. In her spare time Pauline likes to power walk with Ruby, go to the gym, and reading.


Rhoda

Receptionist

After many years as a scientific and medical illustrator, Rhoda decided on a change of direction and became a veterinary receptionist. Having worked for Stephanie at her previous practice, Rhoda joined the Mimram a week after it opened and has been working there on a part-time basis ever since. She also has had her own dog training business for 25 years and now specialises in helping puppy owners get on the right track with their new pup before it is allowed out into the big wide world.


Sara

Receptionist

Sara joined the team in December 2014, having been a client for about 8 years with her rabbits Claude, Hop and Alice aswell as her dog Alfie, a lovely black Labrador. Alfie was often visiting the weight clinic, despite doing really well and reaching his target weight, Sara was at the practice so often we thought we'd put her to work! Sara's children having left for university meant it was good timing for a job and she loves working at Mimram Vets.


Tina

Receptionist

Tina joined the practice in November 2004 as a part-time receptionist. As she spent so much time here anyway with her cat and three rabbits it seemed a good idea to work here as well! Tina studied biological sciences at Warwick University.Then after various jobs became a stay at home Mum for her two children. She loves animals and really enjoys her job.
