  • Pom

    Clinical Director, Veterinary Surgeon

    BVetMed CertAVP(SAM) MRCVS

    Pom joined the Mimram Veterinary team as our clinical director in 2019. Pom graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009 and started her career in mixed practice before choosing to work exclusively with companion animals. She is an Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine. Pom enjoys all aspects of her role, however, she is especially keen on feline and geriatric medicine. When not working, Pom enjoys cooking, going to the theatre and spending time with her husband and Pepper their cat.

    Sam

    Veterinary Surgeon

    MA VetMB MRCVS

    Sam graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2020, working in a small practice in North Hertfordshire for 2 years before joining Mimram in August 2022. Sam has a love of all things in general practice, and is keen to try his hand at anything. In particular, Border Terriers hold a special place in his heart, with Douglas joining the Mimram Team at the same time as Sam! Outside of work, Sam spends his time walking the dog with his wife, practicing Archery and also photography.

    Veterinary Surgeon

    TA MRCVS

    Regina qualified in Hanover, Germany in 1989. She worked in small animal and mixed practice in England since 1991 including small animal clinics. After practicing for 10 years in Luton she joined the Mimram team in January 2008. Regina has a special interest in surgery and has two dogs, two mules and some sheep!

    Veterinary Surgeon

    Grace graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2022 and has enjoyed working at Mimram ever since. At home she has 2 Pointers called Jasper and Elsie and a cat called Bee. In her spare time, she enjoys running, baking and taking her dogs out.

  • Sally

    Veterinary Surgeon

    BVetMed MRCVS

    Sally qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 1993. She spent two and a half years in mixed practice before moving to small animal practice, eventually joining the Mimram team in 2009. Sally is married and has two sons, Thomas and Lucas, so she works part-time and spends the rest of her time looking after the boys and their busy social lives! The family wouldn’t be without their pets- Freddie the cat, Rhubarb and Crumble the rabbits and Galaxy and Toblerone the rats.

  • Anna

    Head Nurse

    RVN

    Anna has been at Mimram Vets since 2008 and has been nursing since 2002, she lives locally with her partner and their dog Poppy.

    Anna enjoys consulting and has a keen interest in feline nursing and behaviour as well as canine and feline obesity. She has a certificate in feline and canine veterinary health nutrition and more recently has passed the ISFM certificate in Feline Nursing with distinction and is currently undertaking a BVNA behaviour course.

    Anna volunteers as a veterinary nurse for Dogs on The Streets, regularly visiting the dogs at their sanctuary and running the fostering and adoption programme.

  • Emma

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Emma started work at Mimram Vets in 2007 as a trainee nurse, having completed an animal management course at Shuttleworth College in Biggleswade. She qualified in November 2009. Emma has two cockapoos, Penny and Pippa. Pippa is a former stray who has most definitely fallen on her paws!. In her spare time Emma enjoys walking her dogs and is qualified as a pole fitness instructor.  

  • Sharon

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Sharon qualified as an RVN in 1998 from the Royal Veterinary College and has been working at Mimram Vets since 2008.

    Sharon is passionate about small furries, with rabbits and guinea pigs being her area of expertise. Her other interests include arthritis, pain management and feline behaviour.

    Mimram Vets are part of the ISFM ‘Cat Friendly Practice’ scheme and Sharon is our practice cat advocate. She ensures that all criteria are followed and any cats that visit the practice have the best experience possible. Sharon has also completed the ISFM Cat Friendly Professional Course.

    Sharon lives locally with her family and two dogs, Elsa a black Labrador and new addition Bonnie, a cavalier from Bliss Cavalier Rescue, whom Sharon is hoping to raise money for later this year. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys Pilates, tap dancing and eating out.

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

     Julie joined Mimram in 2022.
    I qualified in 2002 and have worked for a veterinary pharmaceutical company and in veterinary Hospitals in the past. I enjoy nurse consults and nursing hospitalised patients.
    Out of work I enjoy spending time with family and my pets. I have a springer Spaniel and a rescue cat.

    Katie

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Katie joined Mimram in September 2022 as a maternity cover. She graduated from Middlesex University with a BSc degree in Veterinary Nursing 6 months ago. Less than a month after joining Mimram, Katie adopted Theo - a stray kitten brought into the practice. Within work, Katie is interested in diagnostic imaging, orthopaedics and she is passionate about bereavement support. When not at work, Katie enjoys relaxing with Theo and her fiancé.

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Lily qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. She enjoys all aspects of nursing and like how varied each day can be, she particularly enjoys anaesthesia and consulting. She is passionate about everything feline and completed the ISFM Vet Professional course in 2022. Lily furthering her knowledge by enrolling on the ISFM certificate in feline nursing this year. Lily has two children and is also the mum of two beautiful cats Bluebell and Topaz. In her spare time Lily enjoys doing yoga and likes to crochet.

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Caitlin joined us in 2019 as a student veterinary nurse, and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse the following year.  She has since developed a keen interest in diagnostic imaging, having recently completed a course in Ultrasonography and has a keen interest in anaesthesia, consulting and bereavement support. She lives with her fiancé, Rick, their young son, Leo and their furry friend, Meg.

    Student Veterinary Nurse

    Lily started work at Mimram in December 2020 as a Veterinary Care Assistant. She has now gone on to start her training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Lily’s motivation to become a veterinary nurse began when she heard of the plight of the thousands of bears who are farmed for their bile. Once qualified as an RVN Lily aims to volunteer yearly at Animals Asia who rescue these bears. Lily adores her dog Daisy and horse Dolly, she competes competitively with her horse in dressage.

    Student Veterinary Nurse

    I joined Mimram in August 2022 as a receptionist and as of April 2024 I’m now a student veterinary nurse. I previously worked as a waitress but have always wanted to work with animals and have grown up with adorable dogs.  I have loved working at the practice and I’m excited to be carrying out my veterinary nursing training here. On weekends I volunteer at the blue cross rehoming centre as a small animal career and have loved working with all the animals.

    Senior Receptionist

    After a 30-year successful sales and account management career Claire decided that she wanted a change of focus and wanted to combine her love of animals with her working life.

    She started as a receptionist at a busy North London Veterinary Practice in 2017, and 2 years later progressed to branch manager where she stayed for a further 2 years. She joined the Mimram team in rural Hertfordshire just over a year ago. 

    Claire is married to Roger and is kept busy looking after her horse Winnie and Retired rescue Greyhound Finn who often joins her at work in the practice.

    Receptionist

    Nicola joined Mimram Vets as a Receptionist in 2010. 

    She lives with her husband, daughter and 18-year-old cat Millie, who she re-homed in 2012. 

    Nicola works part time and when she is not working, she enjoys listening to music, photography, walking and spending time with family and friends.

    Pauline

    Practice Administrator

    Pauline joined the practice in May 2016. She previously worked for Barclays Bank for 29 years as a Senior Lending Officer, then for 12 years at another veterinary practice. She shares her home life with hubby Kevin and her grown up son and daughter. She has a beautiful GSD called Ruby, who at 7 months, she took in from a rehoming centre. In her spare time Pauline likes to power walk with Ruby, go to the gym, and reading.

    Receptionist

    Tina joined the practice in November 2004 as a part-time receptionist. As she spent so much time here anyway with her cat and three rabbits it seemed a good idea to work here as well! Tina studied biological sciences at Warwick University.Then after various jobs became a stay at home Mum for her two children. She loves animals and really enjoys her job.

    Stacey

    Receptionist

    Stacey joined the practice in May 2021. She is very passionate about guinea pigs and rescued the lovely Idris in January 2024. Idris is a 3 year old domestic guinea pig who has settled in very well with Stacey and her partner Calvin. Stacey is always keen to learn more about guinea pigs and their wellbeing. Stacey is an ISFM cat friendly veterinary receptionist after completing the ISFM  course. She enjoys learning about the welfare of the cats and small furry's that come into the practice. In her spare time Stacey enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing at home with her partner and Idris.

    Receptionist

    Natasha started working at Mimram in 2023 having been a veterinary receptionist for over 7 years. Her favourite thing about working here is getting to meet all the animals that come through our door.
    In 2016 Natasha found her four legged best friend Raphael, a Jack Russel x chihuahua that everyone knows as Raph. He loves playing with his toys, going for walks, the word treat but most of all, sleeping!
    In her spare time Natasha likes to read, go for walks and spending time with her family and friends.
